Becca is seven years old. She is in second grade. Becca likes school, and her favorite thing to do besides drawing is to play with her friends during recess. Every day, Becca wakes up at seven thirty in the morning and gets ready for school. She is still young, so her mother helps her prepare for school. After taking a shower and putting on her clothes, she eats breakfast. She likes cereal or pancakes with orange juice for breakfast. Sometimes, Becca eats breakfast at school. She likes learning, playing, and making new friends at school.

She likes doing different things after school every day. On Monday, she likes playing with her dog, Bobby, in the backyard. On Tuesday, she practices music at school. Every Wednesday, Becca watches children’s shows on TV. One of her favorite shows is Sesame Street, and Elmo and Oscar the Grouch are her favorite Muppet characters. On Thursday, Becca’s mother takes her to a ballet class where Becca practices dancing. On Friday, Becca and her family like to walk in the neighborhood park after school when the weather is nice. When it is rainy or cold, Becca stays inside, playing with her toys and watching children’s videos on her tablet.

On the weekends, Becca helps her mother with house chores like cleaning the living room and the bedrooms, cleaning the garage, and taking the trash out. She also likes helping her mother in the garden on Saturday afternoons when it is nice outside. On Sunday, she goes shopping with her parents and the family spends some quality time together with a nice dinner in the evening.
